The VisionDAW Core i7 Workstation is the new standard for the professional studio. The all aluminum 4U chassis has ample room for massive storage arrays, future upgrades, and required airflow. This workstation is geared for professional audio applications such as EastWest's PLAY, Native Instruments Komplete, Kontakt 3, Vienna Instruments and any audio application requiring a stable and powerful platform for serious sample streaming and audio processing.

Technical Information
The VisionDAW Core i7 Workstation implements the next level of multi-core performance that dynamically applies processing power where and when it’s needed. These new levels of performance are achieved through advanced technologies including Quad-Core Processing Support :: four independent processor cores in one physical package, Intel® Turbo Boost Technology :: dynamically increases the processor’s frequency as needed so applications get more performance automatically, Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology :: delivers two processing threads per physical core for a total of eight threads for massive computational throughput.

Add in Intel's new Integrated Memory Controller :: an integrated memory controller with three channels of DDR3 1066 MHz offers memory performance up to 25.6 GB/s. Combined with the processor’s efficient prefetching algorithms, this memory controller’s lower latency and higher memory bandwidth delivers amazing performance for data-intensive applications, Intel® QuickPath Interconnect :: Intel’s latest system interconnect design increases bandwidth and lowers latency, while achieving data transfer speeds as high as 25.6 GB/s, Intel® Smart Memory Access :: improves system performance by optimizing the use of the available data bandwidth from the memory subsystem and reducing the effective latency of memory accesses.
