Audio Impression’s DVZ® Strings 2.0 bundles many real-time performance innovations never before available.
- DVZ® Strings has 70 players. These instruments with all their styles & effects are immediately avilable from a single load into your sampler computers.
- DVZ® refers to Audio Impressions’ patented groundbreaking Divisi technology that gives you the real-world, real-time, section balances that previously have only been possible with live musicians. DVZ functions on multiple levels. At the highest Orchestrator level, DVZ I handles distribution of the indivdual notes of a chord to entire sections of instruments. Within a given section, DVZ II controls the allocation of multiple instruments to the individual notes handled by that section. And for string instruments, DVZ III also handles allocation of strings to particular notes for each instrument. All this occurs seamlessly and automatically in real time.

AudioPort™ is Audio Impressions' proprietary system for enabling sample computers to send up to 32 channels of digital audio over Gigabit Ethernet, or any high-speed TCP/IP connection to the Sequencer computer. AudioPort is also cross platform, sending audio from its Windows XP based VST host to an AU or VST AudioPort plug-in on any Mac OS-X or Windows XP/Visa sequencer.

Plug And Play Hardware Considerations
Audio Impressions partners with VisionDAW to build turnkey computer systems that satisfy Audio Impressions stringent specifications. VisionDAW installs and preconfigures all software that comes in your selected option. Samples are loaded onto their own dedicated hard drive(s), and you can optionally order all the right peripherals. Your time is money. This is why we offer turn-key solutions.
Scalable To Meet Current and Future Needs
The current implementation of Audio Impressions DVZ® Strings requires at least two computers in addition to your sequencer: one "control computer" to run the DVZ® core engine and generates the sole GUI necessary to control this sampler and any additional samplers that may be running DVZ Strings. The second computer will share the distributed task of playing the samples. Additional sampler computers can be added to achieve higer sample rates (e.g., 96 kHz or 192 kHz).

These components are required for use of the DVZ Strings system, if you already own the software and do not need additional licensing you can choose the "I already own the software for installation" option on the configuration page.
